When you are facing foreclosure time is critical. You need to act
fast to protect your rights.
Many people needing help with an eminent foreclosure simply do
nothing and hope for a miracle. Don't fall into that trap! If you
miss the foreclosure deadline, then it will be too late to save your
home or mobile home.
How Does Foreclosure Work?
When most people purchase real property, they do not have enough
money to buy the property outright. In order to make the purchase,
they are required to borrow money from a lender. In exchange for
lending the money, the lender will hold a lien against the property.
If the borrower does not make the required payments, then the loan
goes into default. The lender will then exercise the lien against
the property, taking legal possession for the purpose of selling the
property to pay off the borrower's loan. This process is called
mortgage foreclosure.
It is important to be aware that once the lender has filed for
foreclosure, you the borrower will receive a great deal of mail
offering to refinance the property or provide other assistance. You
will receive this mail because the Court Filing is a public record
and anyone can access the information. It is best to just ignore
these offers and claims, as many of them are fraudulent. If you are
facing a foreclosure, you are at a place where you need sound legal
advice. If you live in or near San Antonio Texas, you can call me.
I will give you a free initial debt consultation.
Your information will be kept confidential and you will not receive

Can You Lose Your Home?
If you are behind on your mortgage, car payment, and credit card
bills, then you are at risk of losing your home. Bankruptcy can stop
foreclosure on your house or mobile home and allow you an
opportunity to catch up on missed payments. Bankruptcy does not,
however, automatically eliminate mortgages and other liens on your
property without payment. As a general rule, if you want to keep
your possessions, then you must continue to pay for your
possessions. Bankruptcy gives you the opportunity to get back on
your feet.
